Meetings
Meetings are the heartbeat of the Academy. The Academy offers a wide range of opportunities for members and the public to attend meetings online and in person. There are meetings available for members seven days a week if they wish to attend.
During our meetings, we use a living word approach to teaching, and they are generally a mixture of explanations and questions. While this process occurs, students are encouraged to āself rememberā or become as āpresentā as possible. As the body (or machine) becomes passive to the teaching, we find that our āinner worldsā or souls have more space, and the energy at the meetings is frequently very beautiful.
We refer, both in the name of the Academy and in some of the teachings, to European Arts and Culture. This is because the teachings are based in ancient wisdom and have been understood and depicted through the art forms throughout the ages. European Renaissance and Pre-Raphaelite art is particularly rich in symbolism relating to the Work. Some of the teachings use this art as an aid in passing on the knowledge of the Work. The book, Illuminations, Volume 1, offers a sample of the kind of exchanges and understandings shared in our meetings.
Public Meetings
The Academy also offers Public Meetings free of charge, twice monthly online. Meetings that are open to the public include our Meetup, held on the 2nd Monday of each month, and our Discover Your Essence series, an Introduction to the Academy, offered monthly on the 4th Saturday.
