Why Join a School?
The aim of the Academy is to provide the student with practical tools to help them distinguish between their outer world (the world of the body and everyday life) and their inner world (the higher part of themselves, which some refer to as the soul). Having been able to distinguish the two, it is the aim of the School that the individual student will start to develop the inner, hidden part of themself and grow towards enlightenment. The Academy’s teachings can shed light on many areas of philosophical enquiry, such as:
- What does it mean to know myself?
- What is ego/false personality?
- How real is it?
- What do we mean by “being present?”
- What does Awakening actually entail?
- What is Self-Remembering?
- How can a greater appreciation of beauty lead towards higher consciousness?
- What is my path, my true destiny?
Joining the Academy
If you are interested in exploring what the Academy has to offer, you may observe and participate in two meetings a week for a period of up to six weeks.
At any point, you may request to become a student of the Academy. During this introductory period, the prospective student is encouraged to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and engage with the practical teachings through self-observation, verification, and the practice of Self-Remembering. Meetings are held both online and In-person meetings are held in each of our centers.
The Student Contribution for full membership in the Academy is $55 USD a month. Membership rates in other countries vary. Please contact us for more details.
